In his review, JerryRigEverything called the 11 Pro the most powerful smartphone on the planet, likening it to having a “desktop PC in your pocket.”
He also noted that the smooth design of our smartphones is an underrated feature and was impressed by the 16-megapixel hidden under-screen selfie camera protected by a slab of Gorilla Glass. He also enjoyed the upgraded 6.85-inch BOE Q10 AMOLED full-screen display, stating that the 11 Pro’s 95.3% screen-to-body ratio allowed more screen space than the iPhone 17 Pro, which has a 91.1% screen-to-body ratio.
In his breakdown of the device, he was also enthralled by the coolant being visibly pumped around inside the phone and distributing heat across the phone's back surface. In terms of durability, the 11 Pro easily survived all the bending tests thrown at it, proving to be as durable as it is powerful.
Performance Prowess
One of the main highlights of the 11 Pro is undoubtedly the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. As one of the first smartphones to be equipped with the record-breaking hardware, along with our improved RedCore R4 gaming chip, the 11 Pro promises to deliver exceptional performance.
Games Radar+ called the 11 Pro “the king of the castle” and stated that the device easily gained some of the best benchmark scores seen in a gaming phone to date. Even Tech Tablets had to mention the performance of the device in their review. He noted that the UFS 4.1 storage capacity was extremely fast, possibly giving them the fastest results he had ever seen. They further concluded that the 11 Pro has “the top performance right now for the most demanding Android games.”

Robert Triggs from Android Authority put the performance of the 11 Pro to the test in his review and was amazed that the phone performed within just a few percentage points of Qualcomm’s best-case reference model from its launch event. The device seamlessly flew through benchmark tests without an issue. While he noted that the chipset could reach high temperatures in graphics stress tests to maintain peak performance over time, he added that the 11 Pro could manage this due to its elaborate AquaCore liquid cooling system and fan setup.
Liquid Cooling Innovation

In the 11 Pro, our unique and pioneering AquaCore dual-track cooling system uses a specialized flowing fluorinated liquid to remove heat, making it the world’s first mass-produced, liquid-cooled smartphone.
In their review of the device, Android Central stated that the combined built-in fan and dedicated vapor chamber in the 11 Pro creates the most extensive cooling solution of any phone available today. Their review ended with them noting that, like its predecessors, the 11 Pro utterly dominates when it comes to the hardware, and that the phone is one of the “best gaming phones around if you just need raw power and are interested in a high-end gaming phone with great thermal management.”
In terms of cooling power, they claim that the addition of liquid cooling gives the 11 Pro a definite advantage, as it allows the phone to stay cooler as the silicon heats up, and while it has a higher thermal threshold, you don't notice any throttling.
For Games Radar+, the 11 Pro easily outperforms its predecessor with a far better cooling system. In their review, they noted that while the phone got slightly warm when being put through the Wildlife Extreme's Stress Test, the system still maintained an 80% stability score.
This proved to them that the AquaCore cooling system was certainly pulling its weight. The phone also uses an upgraded liquid metal 3.0, the largest vapor chamber in the industry, and an ultra-fast REDMAGIC Turbo Fan to keep cooler for longer.
Phone Arena stated that the 11 Pro was one of the coolest phones ever tested - both metaphorically and literally. Based on their testing results, not only does the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 excel in performance, but the active cooling system also maintains relatively high performance with a stability score of 85%, which is incredibly impressive. They then concluded that the liquid cooling in 11 Pro is not just a gimmick but actually brings real-life advantages to the table.
Versatile Power Boost
Another big change for the 11 Pro was the boost in battery size. Moving from the 7050mAh in the 10S Pro to a massive 7500mAh in the 11 Pro. For Tech Spurt, this was a truly welcome change that would allow you to enjoy just over 5 hours of Wuthering Waves action on the highest possible graphics settings, in Rise mode, and with the fans and liquid cooling switched on and maxed out. He also noted that without gaming, you could easily get a full weekend of use from a single charge, no worries.
Even the Games Radar+ review had to speak up about the 11 Pro’s power capacity, stating gaming phones rarely offer cable-free charges and that this was the first test they did where the feature was baked in. According to their review, the “massive battery capacity translates to just over two full days of casual use on a single charge,” with regular usage, which translates to “mostly locked, save for the odd YouTube video, podcast, half an hour to an hour of gaming, emails, WhatsApp, and social scrolling.”
For gaming, the 11 Pro easily lasted longer than they could feasibly test the device in one sitting. They concluded the battery review, saying that you would never have to worry about powering down halfway through a session with the 11 Pro in your hand.
Gaming Just Got Better
The 11 Pro is above all else, still very much a gaming smartphone, and it definitely knows it. This powerhouse device pushes the limits to provide seamless gameplay, rapid frame rates, and untouchable performance at every level. In his review, Retro Tech Dad stated that essentially everything available natively on Android won't have too much trouble running on the 11 Pro. Citing that emulation remains the best way to show off the extra oomph that comes with a new chipset, he pushed the 11 Pro through several games and emulators with ease.

When it came to PC emulation, the 11 Pro ran flawlessly with the likes of Final Fantasy 7 remake, Crew 2, and God of War using Gamehub. The review deduced that the combination of the 11 Pro’s gaming-focused features, like the impressive vapor chamber, really makes for “an excellent gaming experience that can handle pretty much everything that the world of Android can offer, including some pretty heavy emulation and PC gaming.”
According to Tech Nick, the 11 Pro effortlessly kept Genshin Impact, Wuthering Waves, and Honkai Star Rail stable at 120 fps the whole time playing with maxed out settings and enabled frame interpolation when available. Compared to the 10S Pro, he noted that the frame rates were more stable when playing for a longer period and that the large touch triggers made a massive difference to gameplay, concluding that even at the maximum settings, the 11 Pro barely broke a sweat with all the effects flying all around the screen.

To add on, Tech Spurt pushed the 11 Pro through rounds of Wuthering Waves, Genshin Impact, Call of Duty Mobile, and several other major titles, finding that they all ran flawlessly with maxed out settings. He further noted that if you want something that can play the latest, most intensive and demanding titles, probably for years and years to come, the 11 Pro will easily get the job done.

Zenless Zone Zero was easily the most impressive of the three games played for this reviewer, and the 11 Pro provided “very respectable, stylized graphics and rock-solid 60fps gameplay.” These stats even held true when using the Game Base feature to connect the game to a larger monitor.
