REDMAGIC 7S Pro Review - Launches Internationally

The nubia Red Magic 7S and 7S Pro went official earlier this month but as is often the case, they were initially exclusive to the Chinese market.

Today, nubia is bringing the Red Magic 7S Pro to the global markets.

The nubia Red Magic 7S Pro will come in two configurations - 12/256GB and 18/512GB. The chipset is naturally the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and a 10-layer cooling system ensures things run in check.

The cooling system features a graphene heat storage plate, a Vapor Chamber, as well as high-conducting gel, copper coil, heat dissipation plate, cooling air duct, protective case.

There's also a built-in fan with RGB lights (for the Mercury and Supernova colorways) and ultra-thin shark fin blades. nubia claims it's 4dB quieter than the Red Magic 7 Pro, while also increasing airflow by 16%.

Display-wise, the nubia Red Magic 7S Pro has a 6.8” AMOLED 10-bit panel with 1,080 x 2,400px resolution with DC dimming and 120Hz refresh rate with 960Hz touch sampling. The under-display selfie camera has a 16MP sensor.

On the opposite side are three cameras - 64MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro.

The nubia Red Magic 7S Pro is up for pre-order from August 2 and will ship from August 9. The 12/256GB Obsidian model starts at €779/£669/$729, the 18/512GB Supernova and Mercury (the first silver transparent edition) are €949/£809/$899.

It seems that the nubia Red Magic 7S (read non-Pro) with the faster 165Hz display and regular selfie camera will not come to the global stage at this time.
