Can Using REDMAGIC Plugins Get You Banned from Pro Gaming?

If you’ve ever watched YouTube reviews of the REDMAGIC 8 and 9 series in action, then you may have seen how the devices give you a leg up on the battlefield with plugins that enhance your gameplay. These include the green night vision filter, and the crosshair zoom plugin.

In most cases, the game cannot detect when you’ve enabled these plugins because they’re built into the device and don’t come from 3rd parties. Games can detect when third party apps are used, and in those instances, you could get banned for using them.

My Device Isn’t Cooling Down Efficiently, How Do I Resolve This?

Reddit users who play on the REDMAGIC 7 series asked the forum if there was any way to stop the phone from overheating. In addition to the phone being two generations old, newer apps that demand more power from the device could be running in the background and straining the CPU, causing the device to overheat.

Restarting the phone to close background apps can help relieve the strain on the CPU. Also make sure that the thermal system’s air vent isn’t blocked by your finger or any dust and debris. Follow this guide to learn how to keep the vents in your REDMAGIC clean. However, at this stage, the best way to keep your phone from overheating is with an external cooling device.

How Does the REDMAGIC VC Cooler 5 Pro Drop to Refrigerator Levels?

If you don’t already know, there’s a new external cooler joining the REDMAGIC family. Those who have seen the promo video of the REDMAGIC VC Cooler 5 Pro on social media were fascinated by the idea of using the cooler to drop the temperature of almost anything, but wondered how we managed to make that happen.

The new cooler uses a large liquid cooling plate that’s 3060mm² in size, along with a powerful fan and a custom cooling plate. Together, they can reduce device temperatures by up to 35°C. The liquid cooling mechanism makes this system one of the most unique in the industry, and it can take your device  from 28°C to 0°C in just 30 seconds.

Do REDMAGIC Devices Support Magnet Attachment for the New VC Cooler 5 Pro?

As you may be aware, REDMAGIC devices don’t support wireless charging or magnetic attachments. So you may be wondering how the new VC cooler will work on your REDMAGIC if you don’t opt for the clip on attachment. If your Android device doesn't have a built-in magnet for attaching the cooler, like the REDMAGIC, don’t worry!

The REDMAGIC VC Cooler 5 Pro comes with a magnetic sticker that you can stick to your phone to make it magnetic-ready for the cooler. As mentioned above, however, the cooler does come with an attachment clip if you’d rather maintain the clean aesthetic of your device by not using the magnetic sticker.

How to Take Part in the REDMAGIC Beta Testing Program?

We recently ran a beta testing program for the REDMAGIC 8 series OS, and a large number of users were left wondering why they weren’t offered the opportunity to be part of the project. The beta testing programme was opened to gamers in the U.S, Mexico, and Asia, and the second group of testers (REDMAGIC 8s ) was chosen from the initial round of applicants.

When the time comes, we’ll let you know about signing up for  the REDMAGIC 9 series OS beta testing program. Keep an eye on all REDMAGIC platforms and sign up for newsletters to receive exclusive updates and invitations.
